NBB plans and directs the development of logistical support for ships with the goal of creating systems which last longer and require less support. Aspects of supportability, sustainability, transportability and ecological efficiency during the operational life cycle are focussed. The result will be increased reliability, availability, maintainability and testability. In the end costs will be reduced and return of investment increased.
