Sea Trials
Sea Trials are the first opportunity for both the shipbuilder and the future owners to verify whether the finished ship conforms to all contractual and legislative performance criteria. For this reason it is extremely important that all sea trials are carried out in a completely professional and impartial manner. Our team of experienced captains have many sea trials "under their belts" and can be guaranteed to attempt everything within their power to deliver the best possible results under the prevailing conditions. The results of the sea trials will be recorded using computers and specialised sea trial software.
Back in the office the results of the individual trials will be analysed and plotted and brought into a form compatible with IMO Resolution A.601 (15) as well as See-BG, USCG and Classification Society requirements. The delivery documents produced consist of 1 original and 3 copies of the Manoeuvring Information Booklet, 2 Pilot Card/Wheelhouse Posters in A4 format permanently sealed in a protective plastic laminate pouch, 2 Wheelhouse Posters in A2 format and the Pilot Card as data file.
